India extended their lead over Bangladesh to 308 runs at the end of the second day of the Chennai Test. After bowling Bangladesh out for 149 in their first innings in response to India’s total of 376, India finished the day at 83 for 3 in their second innings.
Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Virat Kohli were dismissed, while Shubman Gill remained unbeaten on 33, and Rishabh Pant was not out on 12.
For Bangladesh, Taskin Ahmed, Nahid Rana, and Mehidy Hasan Miraz each claimed a wicket. India now holds a strong position heading into the third day.
