A Dhaka court has granted a seven-day remand for Additional Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Moshiur Rahman.
The order was passed by Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Saddam Hossain on Friday after police presented Rahman in court.
Moshiur Rahman was arrested by the Detective Branch (DB) of police on Thursday night (19 September).
According to DB sources, Moshiur Rahman is implicated in eight murder cases.
