Student politics has been banned permanently at Shahid Sergeant Zahurul Huq Hall of Dhaka University.
Professor Dr Md Abdur Rahim, provost of the hall, has issued a notice in this regard on Wednesday (17 July) morning.
Due to the ongoing quota reform movement, a cocktail was explosion at the hall and students' rooms were also vandalized this morning. In such a situation, the hall authorities announced the ban on student politics.
