At least five people were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a car in Madhavpur of Habiganj.
The accident took place in the Haritala area on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway of the upazila.at around 1:30am on Thursday (2 May), Shaestaganj Highway Police OC Badrul Kabir said.
Police said that among the five killed, four were members of the same family.
However, the names and other details of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The bodies were kept at Habiganj Sadar Hospital morgue.
