Technical students have declared that they will continue their nationwide protest until their demands are met, stating that discussions with the Ministry of Education yielded no fruitful outcome.
The announcement came on Thursday (17 April) following a meeting between student representatives and ministry officials.
Mashfi Islam, coordinator of the central committee of the Technical Student Movement, addressed the media after the talks, expressing deep dissatisfaction.
“We were deceived under the guise of dialogue,” he said, accusing the authorities of bad faith and alleging that the meeting was orchestrated to mislead rather than resolve.
Student leaders reiterated their commitment to intensifying the movement across the country unless the government takes immediate steps to meet their demands.
