a massive fire has broken out at a tyre factory in the Halishahar area of Chattogram city. Five firefighting units from the Fire Service are currently working to bring the blaze under control.
The fire reportedly started at approximately 9:15am on Thursday (24 October) at the factory, located in the Noyabazar Mausumi Residential Area.
However, the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
An operator at the Fire Service’s Chattogram regional control room confirmed the incident to Bangladesh First, stating, "We received the report of the fire at 9:25 AM. Five units have been deployed to control the situation, but the cause of the fire is still unknown."
