The interim government has accomplished numerous tasks within three months, and with cooperation, they will organise elections at a suitable and appropriate time, stated BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

He made these remarks on Thursday (7 November) following a tribute ceremony at the grave of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka, on the occasion of the "Revolution and Solidarity Day".

The tribute ceremony was attended by the party’s standing committee members Mirza Abbas, Dr Khondaker Mosharraf Hossain, Dr A Z M Zahid Hossain, chairperson's adviser Aman Ullah Aman, and joint secretary general Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie, along with leaders and activists from BNP’s central, metropolitan, and various affiliated organisations.
