Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has banned any rallies, meetings, or demonstrations adjoining the Bangladesh secretariat and government residence of the chief adviser.
A notice in this regard was issued on Sunday (25 August) considering the recent situation.
The ban will be effective until further notice, it said.
