Former Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia has been arrested from the capital's Mohakhali on Wednesday (11 September) night.
The members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested the former DMP chief, said RAB Legal and Media Wing Director Lt Col Muneem Ferdous.
A murder case was filed with Khilgaon Police Station on 3 September, he added.
