Bangladesh Bank (BB) announced that banks, stock markets, and financial institutions will remain closed for three days beginning from Monday (5 August) during the general holiday.
BB Spokesperson Md Mezbaul Haque made the decision after the government declared an indefinite curfew from 6 pm Sunday in the face of a new wave of violence and deaths of people across the country.
