Salman F Rahman, the prime minister's adviser on private industry and investment, emphasised the importance of making the Pangaon Inland Container Terminal (ICT) profitable.
"Huge investments have been made in the Pangaon ICT, a project initiated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. It is imperative for its success, and together we can achieve this," said Salman F Rahman after inspecting the terminal located in Keraniganj, Dhaka, on Saturday (16 March).
During his visit, the adviser on private industry and investment convened a meeting with the relevant stakeholders.
Among those present were Environment, Forest, and Climate Minister Saber Hossain Chowdhury, Jatiya Sangsad Chief Whip Noor-E-Alam Chowdhury, State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Shipping Mostafa Kamal, and Rear Admiral Mohammad Sohail, alongside others.
