The Labour Reform Commission has recommended formulating a national plan to create a skilled workforce in the sectors related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution to meet the needs of the international market and attract foreign investment.

The commission handed over its report to Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna on Monday.

The report said a national skills development program should be launched to prepare workers in key technologies such as robotics, digital technology, cloud computing, 3D printing and biotechnology and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

To create skilled workforce, the private sector should be coordinated with the needs of the global labor market and emerging industries.
