The Dhaka University authorities decided to ban all forms of partisan politics by teachers, students and staff on the university campus until further notice.
Dhaka University Syndicate, in a meeting, took the decision on Thursday.
The emergency syndicate meeting was held at DU Senate Bhaban.
Several members of the syndicate confirmed the matter to Bangladesh First.
