All government officials and employees are required to submit their asset declarations by 30 November, said Ministry of Public Administration Secretary Dr Md.Mokhlesur Rahman.
"As per regulations, government employees must submit their asset details by 31 December each year. However, for this year, the deadline has been set for 30 November," he said during a press conference held at the secretariat on Sunday (22 September).
The declarations must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the relevant authorities, he added.
He also stated that any discrepancies in the asset declarations will result in penalties under the 1979 regulations, and that this requirement applies to all government officials and employees.
