In a significant administrative reshuffle, the interim government has appointed new deputy commissioners to 34 districts, including Rajshahi, Tangail, Kishoreganj, and Barishal.
This change was announced in a notification by the Ministry of Public Administration’s Field Administration Division on Tuesday (10 September).
Prior to this, on Monday (9 September), the Ministry issued a separate notification appointing 25 officials with the rank of Additional Secretary as district commissioners and district magistrates.
