The interim government has promoted 131 officials to the rank of additional secretary.
Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Sunday (25 August).
The notification states that the promotion of the officials to the rank of additional secretary will take effect from the date on which they were superseded by their junior counterparts, and they will be entitled to arrears of financial benefits from that date.
