The government has appointed 13 Officers-in-Charge (OCs) for various police stations under the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
The newly appointed police officials were holding the rank of inspector.
The appointments were made in separate official orders signed by DMP Commissioner Md Mainul Hasan on Tuesday and Wednesday.
According to the orders, the new OCs are Md. Taifur Rahman Mirza for Dakshin Khan Police Station; Md. Nazrul Islam for Pallabi Police Station; Md. Touhid Ahmed for Gulshan Police Station; Md. Mazharul Islam for Bhatara Police Station; Muhammad Azaharul Islam for Khilkhet Police Station; Golam Faruk for Ramna Police Station; Molla Md. Khalid Hossain for Paltan Police Station; Md. Saiful Islam for Badda Police Station; Ershad Ahmed for Airport Police Station; Muhammad Monirul Islam for Mirpur Police Station; Mubarak Hossain for Tejgaon Police Station; Md. Hafizur Rahman for Uttara West Police Station; Md. Azharul Islam for Shahbagh Police Station; and Md. Anwar Hossain for Dhanmondi Police Station.
The new appointments will be effective immediately, according to the orders.
