The government has appointed 259 candidates from 28th to 42nd BCS on the recommendation of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC).
In a notification of the ministry of public administration on Wednesday (14 August), it was informed that these appointments have been made in public interest.
The notification said that as per recommendations of PSC from the 28th to 42nd BCS exams, 259 candidates have been appointed to the entry posts of various cadres of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) with a salary of Tk 22,000-53,060 as per national pay scale, 2015.
The Ministry of Public Administration published a gazette notification in this regard at noon. These candidates have been asked to join the office by September 1, 2024.
These candidates will have to work as apprentices for two years. The government will be able to extend the training period by a maximum of two years.
In case someone doesn’t join within the stipulated date, it will be assumed that the candidate has not agreed to join the job and their appointment letters will be canceled.
