The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has expressed interest in supporting and supporting the development of the tourism industry.

 

“In addition to further increasing the existing partnership of the aviation sector to realise the potential, we want to cooperate and support the development of the tourism industry in Bangladesh,” UAE Ambassador to Bangladesh Abdullah Ali Al Hamoudi told Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry Muhammad Faruk Khan MP during a meeting at the secretariat on Tuesday (19 March).

 

He also said that the tourism industry in Bangladesh has bright potential.

 

“Aviation and tourism industry will strengthen the people-to-people friendship of our two countries,” he added.

 

Faruk Khan said that the government is working sincerely for the development of tourism in Bangladesh.

 

“We are also taking various measures to attract foreign tourists. There is an opportunity for the UAE to invest in developing tourism infrastructure, and building hotels and resorts in Bangladesh.” He said.

 

“If the Emirates invests in this sector, we will provide them with all kinds of support. In addition to the existing relationship in the aviation sector, the new area of cooperation in the tourism industry will take the relationship between the two countries to greater heights,” he added.
