Remaining 26 Bangladeshi migrants, recently pardoned by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, returned to Bangladesh today.

They arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka around noon on Friday.

Earlier, 31 out of the total 57 pardoned migrants had already returned home.

The 57 Bangladeshis were convicted in July after participating in a rare protest in the UAE, where demonstrations are strictly prohibited by law.
