India is making efforts to confuse the world about Bangladesh’s religious harmony by spreading falsehood and propaganda, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed claimed.
The BNP leader, however, said that India cannot be successful due to advanced technology that debunks their false, fabricated information.
Rizvi was speaking journalists during a visit to National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery at Chankharpool area in the capital on Saturday.
He visited the hospital to enquire about the treatment of July uprising injured persons.
During the visit, he conveyed message of sympathy to the injured people on behalf of the party’s acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, also chief patron of Amra BNP Paribar’.
“We know India is a democratic state where constitutional continuity is maintained and we know India is an abode of many wise and talented people. They should know what should be the bahaviour to a friendly neighbor,” he said.
‘Amra BNP Paribar’ adviser Engineer Ashraf Uddin Bakul, convener Atiqur Rahman Rumon, member secretary Agriculturist Moksedul Momin Mithun, members Masud Rana Liton, Mustakim Billah, Shakil Ahmed, Farhad Ali Sajeeb, Rubel Amin and Shahadat Hossain were present on the occasion.
Central leaders of BNP, Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal and front organisations were also present.
