A fatal collision between a bus and a paddy-laden truck in Dinajpur's Birganj has claimed three lives on the spot.
Numerous passengers sustained injuries and concerns that the number of casualties may increase, said Omar Faruk, OC of the local highway police station.
The tragic accident occurred on Friday morning (6 December) at approximately 8:30am in the Jadurmor area along the Thakurgaon-Dash Mile highway within the Birganj Upazila.
Emergency responders have reached the scene, and rescue operations are underway to assist the injured and manage the situation.
