Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has announced that temperatures during both day and night are expected to drop further across the country.
In in latest weather update on Wednesday (20 November), BMD said the weather across Bangladesh is anticipated to remain dry with partly cloudy skies prevailing temporarily.
"Night-time temperatures are likely to remain nearly unchanged, while a slight decrease in daytime temperatures may occur. Additionally, moderate to dense fog may blanket the northern regions of the country from late night until dawn, with light to moderate fog potentially occurring elsewhere," it added.
Chuadanga recorded the nation’s lowest temperature at 14.5 degrees Celsius, a figure that may continue to drop, according to forecasts by the BMD.
Furthermore, from late night to dawn, moderate to dense fog was expected to cover northern Bangladesh, while light to moderate fog might appear sporadically in other parts of the country.
