Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party have been tasked with the security of various police stations and traffic control duties across Dhaka and other parts of the country.
This information was confirmed on Tuesday (6 August) by Rubel Hossain, Media Officer and Assistant Director of the Ansar Headquarters.
Additionally, Ansar has been assigned the responsibility of securing Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
