Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation Atiqul Islam said all areas will have sacrificial animal waste removed within six hours, from 2pm to 8pm, following the Eid-ul-Adha sacrifices.
He said this on after inaugurating the waste removal operation in the Mirpur Stadium area on Monday (17 June).
Mayor Atiqul Islam said 10,000 workers of the city corporation are working to ensure that the sacrificial waste is removed within the specified time frame.
