In a tragic turn of events, three members of a family were killed as a large chunk of mud collapsed on a house in the Chamelibag residential area in Sylhet city on Monday (10 June).
Members of the fire service civil defence and police conducted rescue operations and recovered the bodies.
Shahporan Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Harunur Rashid Chowdhury said on the information a police team rushed to the spot around 8am.
Sylhet has been experiencing heavy downpours for the past few days while several areas of the district have already been flooded.
