The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended the deadline for companies to submit their income tax returns until 30 April 2025.
Previously, the deadline was set for 16 March. The extension was announced through a notification issued by HM Shahriar Hasan, the second secretary of the NBR.
In Bangladesh, most companies follow a fiscal year from July to June for their income year, while banks, insurance companies, financial institutions, and multinational corporations typically adhere to the calendar year, from January to December.
