Engineer Mosharraf Hossain, former minister to the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, has been taken into custody by the Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
The arrest occurred on Sunday (27 October), in the Bashundhara Residential Area of the capital, said DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations Division) Muhammad Talebur Rahman.
However, details regarding the specific case in connection with which he was detained remain undisclosed at this time.
