Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Sheikh Md Sazzat Ali has been promoted to the rank of Inspector General of Police (IGP).
The Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a gazette notification in this regard today (23 March), signed by Deputy Secretary Mahbubur Rahman.
According to the notification, Sazzat Ali will receive all applicable financial benefits, including arrears of salary, pension, and other eligible allowances.
