NBR lowers source tax on imported fresh fruits to 5%

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has reduced the source tax on imported fresh fruits from 10 percent to 5 percent.

The tax reduction applies to fresh or dried oranges, lemons, grapes, apples, pears, and other citrus fruits.

A notification issued by the NBR confirmed that the decision takes immediate effect.
