The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) has announced the election schedule for its board of directors for the 2025-2027 term.
According to a press release issued on Saturday, polling for the 35 director positions is set to take place on 28 May.
Members must clear any outstanding dues by 29 March to be eligible to vote. The deadline for submitting nominations to be included in the voter list is 6 April.
Candidates intending to run for director positions must submit their nomination papers by 24 April, with 6 May being the last date for withdrawing nominations.
BGMEA has urged its members to contact Mahmudul Hasan, secretary of the Election Board and director of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), for further details regarding the election.
