A court here today ordered to attach two flats and 315.94 acres of land, seize shares in 23 companies in the name of former land minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, his wife Rukmila Zaman, his family members and associates, over graft allegations.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed separate orders, allowing two petitions filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
The anti-graft body in its plea said the two flats are situated in Chattogram city's Panchlaish and Kotwali areas and the plots are in Chattogram Sadar and Anwara upazillas.
The same court on 5 March ordered to freeze 39 bank accounts with TK5.26 crore of the former land minister.
