Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam has announced that joint forces will heighten vigilance in crime-prone areas across the country.
He made the remarks following a meeting at the Home Ministry on Monday, emphasising that the law enforcement situation is being taken very seriously.
“Directions have been given to hold meetings with all law enforcement agencies, and checkpoints will be established in key areas,” he said.
Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury stated that police presence in the capital will be further increased. “Checkpoints will be set up at various locations throughout the capital to monitor the law and order situation. Orders have been given to the forces to improve the situation, and operations will be intensified after the evening,” Jahangir added.
