Most of the 227 disqualified candidates from the 43rd Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination would be swiftly recruited, said Ministry of Public Administration Secretary Dr Mokhlesur Rahman.
Speaking to journalists at the Secretariat on Thursday (9 January), he addressed the issue, confirming the government's commitment to expedite the recruitment process for these candidates.
However, he clarified that individuals facing criminal charges, those involved in any confidential misconduct, or those expelled for any offence during their academic life would be excluded from this recruitment.
In a related update, Ministry of Public Administration Secretary Dr Mokhlesur Rahman mentioned that in the forthcoming budget, government officials and employees would receive a dearness allowance.
Retirees would also benefit from this provision, ensuring that those on pensions are included under the dearness allowance scheme.
