An explosion at a gas substation line operated by Akij Group in Bahubal, Habiganj, resulted in the deaths of four workers and injuries to two others.
The tragic incident occurred on Tuesday morning (31 December), said Bahubal Police Station Officer-in-Charge Zahidul Islam.
Details about the identities of the deceased and injured are yet to be confirmed.
