The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has constituted an 18-member central executive committee, formalised through a statement signed by the convenor and member secretary

The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has formally approved an 18-member central executive committee.

The announcement was made on Thursday (21 November) through a statement jointly signed by the organisation’s convenor, Hasnat Abdullah, and member secretary, Arif Sohel.  

According to the statement, the newly approved committee will function as the central executive body of the organisation.

The convenor, member secretary, chief organiser, and spokesperson will automatically hold positions on the committee by virtue of their roles.  

The members named in the committee are Mahin Sarkar, Rashidul Islam Rifat, Nusrat Tabassum, Lutfur Rahman, Ahnaf Saeed Khan, Tarekul Islam (Tarek Reza), Tarikul Islam, Meherab Hossain Sifat, Asadullah Al Galib, Mohammad Rakib, Cynthia Jahin Ayesha, Asad Bin Roni, Naim Abedin, Mahmuda Sultana Rimi, Ibrahim Nirab, Russell Ahmed, Rafiqul Islam Aini, and Muinul Islam.  

The announcement marks a significant step towards solidifying the leadership structure of the movement.
