The leaders and activists of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement are on their way to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to welcome Nobel Peace Prize-winning economist Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus.

The group departed from the TSC at Dhaka University around 1pm on Thursday (8 August).

Dr Yunus left Paris, France, on Wednesday and is expected to arrive in Dhaka at 2:10pm today. In anticipation of his return, preparations have been made for the interim government's swearing-in ceremony at Bangabhaban at 8pm tonight.

General Waqar-uz-Zaman, Chief of Army Staff, announced in a press conference on Wednesday that the interim government might comprise around 15 members. The identities of the members have not been disclosed, though there is much speculation and discussion in political circles regarding potential candidates and the duration of this interim government's term.

It is reported that the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has prepared a list of 15 names for the interim government. The finalidation of this list is expected to take place after discussions with Dr. Yunus upon his return to the country today.
