Sheikh Hasina must face trial, said BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed.
The BNP leader said that Hasina's trial must be held in the court of Bangladesh or in the international courts.
Salahuddin claimed that Sheikh Hasina is hatching conspiracy from Delhi after fleeing the country.
The BNP leader was addressing a street rally as the chief guest at Bhuapur upazila of Tangail.
Earlier in the day, he offered ziyarat at the grave of Shaheed Firoze Talukder Palash, who was shot dead in the anti-discrimination student-people movement.
He also inquired about wellbeing of the family of Palash.
BNP Publicity Secretary Sultan Salahuddin Tuku presided over the rally at the bus stand square of Bhuapur upazila.
BNP National Executive Committee Member Obaidul Haque Nasir, Tangail district BNP President Hasanuzzaman Shaheen, General Secretary Farhad Iqbal, former Member Secretary Mahmudul Haque Chhanu and Bhuapur upazila BNP President Golam Mostafa were present, among others.
