Rail communication between Dhaka and Khulna was restored this (27 March) morning after being suspended for more than seven hours following the derailment of two goods train in Ishwardi of Pabna on Tuesday (26 March) midnight.
Pakshi Western Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Shah Sufi Noor Mohammad confirmed about the restoration of train communication around 7:30 am on Wednesday (March 27).
He said after about seven hours of suspension, two coaches of two derailed goods train were rescued and train movement from Ishwardi to Dhaka and Khulna became normal.
