Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Division Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul today said the interim government will resolve the longstanding crises over judges' shortage and logistics.
"There is a crisis over the shortage of judges and logistics. We have assumed office very recently. It takes time to make the appointment (of judges). The crisis over the judges' shortage will be resolved, we will resolve these during our tenure," he said while talking to newsmen after inspecting the land acquired for the Chief Judicial Court of Bandarban.
Bandarban District and Sessions Judge Md Zamiul Haider, Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal Judge Begum Zebunnahar Aisha and Chief Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Siraj Uddin Iqbal were present on the occasion, among others.
"The issue of whether family court cases can be referred to arbitration is currently under consideration. No decision has been made in this connection so far. If arbitration is not possible, then the case will come to court. This will reduce the pressure on the court," the law adviser said.
After that, Dr Asif Nazrul joined a views exchange on infrastructure development activities of Bandarban District at the District and Sessions Judge Court. After the meeting, a memorandum was submitted to him for the Chief Adviser from the Bangladesh Judicial Employees Association, Bandarban District wing.
