Panorama Apparels has expressed profound shock and sorrow over the death of one of its employees on 2 March 2025, extending heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones.

The company has pledged full support to the bereaved family and assured cooperation with law enforcement in conducting a thorough investigation.

In response to allegations circulating on social media and elsewhere, the company has strongly refuted claims that the employee was denied sick leave, calling them "entirely false and fabricated."

According to Panorama Apparels, the deceased had not submitted any leave request to the authorities.

"As a responsible company, we prioritise the well-being of our employees and adhere to structured policies, including those governing leave management," the company stated.

It further reiterated its commitment to upholding national labour laws and international standards, underscoring its longstanding adherence to ethical and transparent business practices since its establishment in 1991.

Preliminary findings by the police indicate that the employee’s death was a case of suicide, potentially linked to a family dispute.

The company urged the public to refrain from spreading misinformation while the matter remains under legal investigation, cautioning that false narratives could exacerbate the emotional distress of the grieving family and colleagues.
