Law Adviser has asserted that if the judiciary and other state institutions function effectively, the prevalence of lawlessness will significantly diminish. He stressed the imperative of upholding accountability and responsibility across all sectors.

He made the remarks while speaking at a workshop on law enforcement with an emphasis on human rights and environmental issues in the context of the nation’s changing political landscape, held in Dhaka’s Rajarbagh on Tuesday (11 February).

"We are navigating through challenging times," Nazrul stated, adding, "Fallen fascists are attempting to destabilise the country with millions of taka." His pointed allegation highlights the alleged use of substantial financial resources to foment unrest.

Addressing the legal community, he advised, "Draft case statements meticulously, provide accurate information, and refrain from granting bail indiscriminately. Bail decisions must be rooted in sound judicial consideration."

Nazrul further claimed, "Over the past 15 years, the country has witnessed anarchy, enforced disappearances, and murders. It is imperative to send a clear message that every act of murder will be met with justice. Otherwise, holding such positions of authority becomes meaningless."
