"The pens that write in favour of fascism—we will break those pens again," said Hasnat Abdullah, convenor of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

He made the remarks during a public gathering on Tuesday afternoon at the Chashara Shaheed Minar in Narayanganj.

Hasnat stated, “The first issue regarding the Awami League is that they must be put on trial first. People, including talk-show participants, university teachers, and intellectuals who advocate for the Awami League’s human rights, have long supported fascism.”

Following his address in Narayanganj, Hasnat conducted street meetings in Siddhirganj's Chittagong Road and Sonargaon’s Kanchpur, demanding the Declaration of the July Revolution.

He reaffirmed their stance against media and ideologies favouring fascism, stating, “If the older generation fails to understand the voice of the youth, future decision-makers will face the same fate as the Awami League.”

The event was attended by National Citizens’ Committee spokesperson Samanta Sharmin, joint member secretary Abdullah Al Amin, joint convenor Ali Ahsan Jonaed, spokesperson Arefin Muhammad Hizbullah, and central members Shawkat Ali and Tamim Ahmed, among others.
