Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has emphasised that individual power surpasses governmental authority, asserting that awakening personal potential can provide solutions to all societal problems.
Yunus made these remarks on Thursday (2 January) during the inaugural ceremony of the Walkathon and Social Service Conference organised by the Department of Social Services to commemorate National Social Service Day 2025.
The chief adviser underscored the importance of engaging in business that benefits the public, advocating for social business as a means to protect collective interests.
"Social service is not solely the responsibility of this ministry. The Ministry of Social Services exists to remind everyone about the importance of contributing to social welfare," Yunus added, urging a more inclusive approach to societal contributions.
