Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested former lawmaker Dr Abu Reza Muhammad Nadvi from the Uttara area in the capital.
Deputy Commissioner of DB (media and public relations) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the arrest to the media.
He said that a team of DB arrested Nadvi, lawmaker of Chattogram-15 constituency, on Sunday night from Uttara area of Dhaka city.
Nadvi is an accused of a murder case filed with Satkania Police Station filed by local BNP leader Md Mustafizur Rahman, he added.
