A large-scale protest, organised by the Civil Society of Delhi with support from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), rallied towards the Bangladeshi Embassy in Delhi on Tuesday (10 December), condemning alleged atrocities against minorities in Bangladesh.

The march commenced around 12pm from the Teen Murti Chowk in Chanakyapuri, under the jurisdiction of Chanakyapuri Police Station.

According to BBC Bangla's correspondent Shubhojyoti Ghosh, the protest saw participation from an estimated 3,000 to 4,000 individuals.

Among them were men of various age groups and a notable number of women.

While the demonstrators aimed to reach the Bangladeshi Embassy, it remained uncertain whether they would be permitted to proceed further due to police barricades blocking the route.

As of now, the protesters have gathered at a single location, chanting slogans and voicing their demands.

Placards held by participants carried slogans such as "Save Bengal, Save Bengalis, Save Sanatan Dharma!", "Bangladesh, Remember '71, Stop Oppression!" and "Save Bangladeshi Hindus!"

The display reflected their core grievances and calls for immediate action to safeguard minority communities in Bangladesh.
