A total of 2,460 kg of polythene were seized, three factories sealed during an operation against polythene manufacturers in Dhaka’s Chawkbazar on Wednesday (13 November).
The crackdown on polythene production will continue in the future, said Executive Magistrate Kazi Tamzid Ahmed, who led the operation with support from the army, RAB, and police.\
