Two officers with the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG), 18 officers with rank of Additional DIG and 44 Superintendents of Police (SPs) have been transferred.
They were also attached to different police units.
The move was taken as part of the ongoing reshuffle in the police administration.
To this end, two separate notifications were issued by the Public Security Division under the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday.
According to the notification, DIG of Police Staff College Dr Md Nazmul Karim Khan has been transferred to Gazipur Metropolitan Police as commissioner.
DIG of Highway Police Atika Islam has been attached to Dhaka Range DIG Office, it said.
Besides, 18 Additional DIGs have been transferred and attached to various units.
Meanwhile, 44 SPs were also transferred and attached to different units in divisions and districts.
