The Bishwa Ijtema, to be held in two phases in Gazipur’s Tongi, will commence on 31 January 2024, with each phase involving specific dates yet to be finalised

The upcoming two-phase Bishwa Ijtema in Tongi, Gazipur, is scheduled to begin on 31 January 2024.

First phase will run from 31 January to 2 February, while the second phase will take place from 7 February and conclude on 9 February, the Ministry of Religious Affairs said following a meeting with the two factions of the Tabligh Jamaat—the Jubaer and Saad groups on Monday (4 November).

According to the Home Affairs Advisor, however, the allocation of specific dates to each faction has yet to be finalised.
