Finance and Planning Adviser Salehuddin Ahmed has asserted that no one will be allowed to generate black money in the country.
"Since no opportunity will be given to generate black money, there will be no question of whitening black money in the future," Dr. Salehuddin said during a press briefing on Sunday following a meeting with World Bank representatives and the UN’s resident representative.
He also mentioned that efforts are underway to repatriate smuggled money, with Bangladesh Bank actively working on this issue.
Regarding future loans, Dr. Salehuddin emphasized that they will only be taken after thorough justification and examination.
